How to Enrol

All the information and steps you will need to complete your child's registration to secure a place on the Close Day Nursery School waiting list.

Step 1

Visit the Nursery

If you would like to book a viewing before registering:

Call our main office on 01295 263569

or

Email the Nursery Manager

Step 2

Registration

If you enjoy your visit with us and decide you would like to book a place for your child we will do our best to accommodate you.

If we can confirm that a space is available for your child, we will ask you to complete a registration form and submit a £35 registration fee.

If we cannot confirm that a space is available (i.e. because we are full), we will place you on our waitlist (at no charge).

Please note that registration fees are not required for parent-carers utilising fully government funded hours.

Step 3

Agree to Terms and Conditions

You are now required to accept and agree to our Terms and Conditions, including our GDPR form.

These must be agreed before your child starts at the nursery.

Step 4

Child Information

Each room has an ‘All About Me’ booklet that parents complete to ensure your child has a smooth transition to the nursery. The information provides various finer details for your child’s Key Worker and our team in order for us to prepare and understand your child’s requirements.

The booklet must be completed before your child’s starting date.

Step 5

Fees and Paying

Invoices are emailed to parents on the 23rd of each month to be paid in advance of the following month.

Payment Method: We accept BACS payments, Direct Debits and various voucher payments (Tax Childcare Government Voucher Scheme, Computershare, Edenred, Kiddivouchers, Care4 U etc). We do not accept credit cards or cheques.

Step 6

Funded Hours

(Only Applicable To Parents-Carers Utilising Government Funded Hours)

Parents-carers are required to complete and sign a local authority funding form for the hours they wish to use with us. These are issued at the start of each term for parents to complete and sign.

If you are applicable for 2 year funding and have a 2 year code, or are applicable for the 30 hour funding and have a 30 hour code, please contact the office with the information so they can verify before your child’s start date.

You will need to provide proof of identity and date of birth when you return this form to the preschool (the first time only). This can be in the form of Birth certificate of the child or a child passport. We also require proof of address which can be a utility bill dated within 3 months, for proof of address. Please hand the relevant declaration form and show the forms of ID to the office.
